Irene Santos de la Presa

Irene is an introverted artist that surprises us with the power she captures in her work through an explosion of paint and vigorous brush strokes. She develops her work in acrylic on paper, the use of images, and collage. Her choice of colours is not by chance, stemming from an explicit desire at the start of each piece. Her palette begins with saturated colours that she employs in both their initial tone as well as saturated with the mixtures she decides on. Her work expresses spontaneity and freedom, becoming a vehicle for communication and expression without the need for words.
